This is a short YouTube video by Trenton Luera (a former college quarterback) explaining how scholarship offers work for athletes not going Division 1. The speaker clarifies that offers from D1 FCS programs or below are often partial (not full rides), that programs may not finalize award amounts until after their season (around December–January), and includes a CTA offering a free spreadsheet of college coaches' emails.

This is what the scholarship offer process actually looks like if you're not going D1. And this is super important to understand because like, everyone knows the D1 process. You get offered, you know it's a full ride and that's pretty much it. But what if you're not going D1 and you're getting like a partial scholarship? How does that work? But before we dive into that, if you don't know who I am, I'm a former college quarterback. So be sure to follow for more content like this. Also, if you want a free spreadsheet of 6,000 plus college coaches emails, then all you have to do, click the link in my bio, get it for free. So the most important piece that you have to understand is that when you receive an offer from a D1 FCS program or below, it can be and partial scholarship. So right now, maybe you have an FCS offer, maybe you have a D2 offer and you're thinking, okay, great, they offered me, but they haven't told me anything along the lines of, hey, we're offering a partial offering full. And the truth is they won't know until after their season, probably in December, January, when they get better ideas of like, who's staying, who's not staying, who are they planning on bringing in, what do they need? That's when it gets closer to the official offer process. So in that time, December, January.
