If you're 2026 and you know coaches can't contact you, should you even be worrying about recruiting in the first place? If you're new here and don't know who I am, I'm Trent Lower. I'm a former college quarterback. So be sure to follow for more content like this. And also if you want a free spreadsheet of 6,000 plus college coaches emails, then all you do is click the link my bio and get it for free. So the answer is yes, you should absolutely be putting time into recruiting though definitely the most important thing you should be putting your time into is in the classroom and on the field because those are going to be the biggest impactors in your recruiting. But yes, coaches cannot contact you until June 1st. That is true though are some rules around that and obviously rules can get broken. But you should still be putting time into recruiting because the thing is, if you start on June 1st, you're going to be behind the ball. You already see 2026 is getting offers and talking to coaches and getting invites. Everything like this. You need to either get on that track or just start putting yourself out there so that way you're at least ahead of the game once June 15 comes. Because if you're going to wait around till then, you will be behind. You are not going to get any responses for probably a couple of months.
