Short YouTube video ("Recruiting Sauce" series) giving practical advice to high school athletes on using Twitter direct messages to contact college football coaches. The speaker emphasizes getting on Twitter, keeping DMs brief, and outlines three DM-template priorities: personalize to coach/school, introduce yourself, and a third item (incomplete in this chunk). Includes a promotional offer to DM the speaker on Instagram for a spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails.

Recruiting sauce number one. So Recruiting Sauce is a series I'm going to do where I drop sauce about recruiting to help you get more college level scholarships. First, if you want to save yourself hundreds of hours, DM me the word sauce on Instagram and I'll send you a free spreadsheet with 6,000 plus college coaches emails. So the sauce today is about Twitter. DMs first, if you're not on Twitter already, you need to get on there. It's the place where 90% of college recruiting happens daily. And so if you're on there already, you need to be reaching out to college coaches. And DMs are an easy way to do this. Now the big mistake I see is that people write these long essays when they're DMing college coaches. The thing is, a coach is just not going to read that. They don't have the time and honestly they just don't really care. They're getting 50 plus DMS a day. So if you think they're going to read your essay, then you're just wrong. The sauce here is you want to keep it short and sweet and to the point. When I'm making the DM templates for the People Inside Scholarships Accelerator and when I was doing them myself when I was getting recruited, I really looked for three things in each DM template. The first one is I made sure to personalize it to the coach and to the school. Next, I made sure to introduce myself in some way. Lastly, I made sure.
