How to stand out to college coaches in the sea of recruits. The key is knowing your strengths. Every single thing you put out there posts messages. You need to make sure that you're highlighting your strengths. I'm not talking about dumb strengths like hard work, focus, effort. Those are just opinions that anyone can say. You want hard facts and numbers. Things like stats, your height, your weight, your weight room numbers 40 times. Things that coaches actually care about and can prove. You also need to show them some kind of proof, whether that's a video or verified number or stat. Otherwise, if you have nothing impressive about you, then why would a college coach even recruit you in the first place? For me, it was always my height and weight. I never really had crazy stat or an impressive 40 times, so I just used my height and weight. I was 6 3, 2, 15 as a quarterback. That's pretty solid. So any message I sent, any post I put out there, I always put that first. That way a college coach looked at that would read the rest of my message and hopefully click on my highlights. Because your ultimate goal with anything you put out there is just to get the coach interested in you. Because you're not trying to get an offer from some Twitter post or dm. You're just ultimately trying to get them to click the highlight link so that way they will respond to your message and you.
