Here's my unfiltered take on each division level. This is just from my experience. I've played and seen a lot of guys at each division level. So first let's start with Power 5 or Power 4. Now whatever it is, these guys are all dudes. Anybody with a scholarship was probably a three star, four star, five star and even the walk ons were probably ranked. Now you might be thinking oh little Johnny, he's got connections and that dude was still probably a baller in high school. You have to be legit to play power five. Now we're going to group of five. Now a lot of these guys were probably still ranked in high school, especially in big markets like California. But there might be a couple guys that are on scholarship that weren't ranked or too stars and lower especially at schools in like Sunbelt Conference or the Mac. But again you still have to be really good, have to have the measurable. All these dudes could be on a Power 5 school. They just didn't end up there for some reason. Next is fcs. Again ton of ballers here. A few of them might have been ranked. Most of them are local kids to that area. Now there's conferences like the Big sky and Missouri Valley that are just dominant like South Dakota State and Montana. Montana State, those teams could be in fbs. But there's also low level FCS schools like in the Pioneer League.
