Trystan Trenberth read Rich Dad Poor Dad in 2019 and realized his retirement savings wouldn't last. He started learning real estate fundamentals and did a few wholesale deals, shifting from worry to action on understanding assets versus liabilities.
In 2019, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad, learned that basically what we have in, in retirement funds isn't going to be anything that's going to take care of us through retirement, especially with inflation. And, you know, the world changed, our lives have changed from what we projected, and, uh, really realized I needed to take some action to learn some different areas of life and business. That primarily being the difference between assets and liabilities was the big takeaway from Rich Dad Poor Dad and then putting into practice some of those things with, um, learning how to buy property, learning how to sell property. You know, I've wholesaled a few deals but not been a wholesaler.
