Will you tell your story of your first sale? Sure. Douglas, cold calling for 2.5 months, eventually found this property located in Ajo, Arizona. Ajo is like right next to the border of Mexico. There was 3 houses on one lot. They were all complete pieces of shit. Houses of that kind were selling for about $55,000. And this guy said he wanted $30,000. So I was like, okay, drove to his house, walked him. While we were walking him, we were able to get him down to $25,000. Then I didn't have a buyer. I didn't know any buyers in this area. So I talked to another guy who was a wholesaler who I knew had done deals in Ajo because I'd met him at an in-person real estate meetup. And I said, hey, I got this deal in Ajo. Do you have any buyers for it? Yes, I do. He sold to somebody for $55,000. That's a $30,000 spread because we JB'd the deal. He kept $15,000. That was the first time I'd ever had any amount of money in my bank account, which even now, $15,000 is not a lot of money. But seeing that completely changed my life, right? Made me realize I just made $15 grand for something that really took me like 4 hours worth of work. That's insane. I need to do more of this. We invested money back in the business, got more marketing, more employees, spent more money on education to learn what I need to be doing. And here we are.
