It's 2023, it's a new year, and you might have made the resolution to quit nicotine. Here's how you're gonna do it. Step number 1, you need to identify your triggers. What causes you to crave nicotine? For me, it was driving and it was right when I woke up. I knew that during those times I wanted nicotine. Step number 2, you need to find another habit to replace it with. The habit I chose was chewing gum. So instead of hitting my vape every single time I had a craving, I would pop in a piece of gum into my mouth. And I'm not kidding when I say every single time. So I ended I was chewing a pack of gum a day. The last thing you need to do is make this habit switch convenient. So by my bedside table and in my car, I always had packs of gum, so it was right there. You don't want to make it hard on yourself. Set yourself up for success.
