Tyson Smith spent years wholesaling real estate, learning how to find discounted deals and understand property value. Now in 2023 he's buying properties himself instead, using what wholesaling taught him about what makes deals work.
Wholesaling is a great way to make active income, but I'm learning that I want to buy some assets. And so going into 2023, I'm going to be fully focused on acquiring real estate. Wholesaling has allowed me to learn a ton about real estate. I've seen so many different transactions and I've been able to learn, number 1, how to find discounted properties. Number 2, I've been able to learn some factors of what can make or break a good real estate deal. Number 3, I've just understood how real estate works. So I know that what can be a bad property and how we can make it better, what deals we need to stay away from, what deals we can buy and learn how to make money with. It's just I've never been able to actually do it myself. I've just sold it to other people who have done it. So going into this next year, I'm going to be fully focused on taking down real estate for myself to own with other partners.
