Division 1, Griffiths Ariana from Great Oak, 4:53.70, 10th grader. Micaela Ramirez Ayala, 4:54.40. Fatima Cortes, Great Oak, 4:56.73. And for another Great Oak, what a program, Sandra Flugel, 4:57.03 out of Great Oak, she's a senior. Tori Ariaga, Walnut, did very good this year, 4:57.07. Jacqueline Duarte, Chino Hills 9th grader, 4:53— excuse me, 4:58.47. Tori Gaitan, grade 10th grader, 4:58.70. San Clemente's had an excellent year. Annie Katzamanis from San Clemente, 10th grader, 4:59.86. And Ashley Messineo, El Toro, 5:00.72. Pretty fine field here. Record, Shannon Yurakami, Sagas, yeah, a record holder with the Miyakami Sagas High School, set in 2007, 4:32.5L. Good start. The 4, Flughoff, along with Griffiths. Along to 3rd would be Ramirez. And running in 7th, actually 4th place, would be Gaitan Torre from Great Oak. The quick girls running here, looking at that record, Saugus, 4:42.50. We got 1, 2, 4, 5. That would be Griffith, Ramirez, Fughoff, and Ariaga. They're running in 5th.
73.5, 2:23.8.
Very good early start. Right, we got Griffith from, uh, Griffiths would be Tork Great Oak, and she's a 10th grader running very well in there. Cortes, the junior Great Oak. Also we have Kimhoff, senior representation, Great Oak. And then we had Arriaga in there of Walnut. Number 6, Duarte, Chino Hills, has moved in there to that, uh, excellent six-pack.
I see him! I see you!
Where?
And now they're starting to run here.
Luis Ayala takes the lead, 74 2 and 3 fairly even, and about 6 girls in great striking position. Yeah, this is a very good field here. Running in second would be Compass. Looks like Griffith's moving up.
Great Oak in a very good race.
Oh, 3 girls down the straight! Torani with a big upset here against one of the finest programs in the nation. But boy, moving away, Jacqueline Tualtu, 9th grader out of Chino Hills. 67.1. She was faster than 67.1, but quite a finish there for the 9th grader out of Chino Hills. Duarte, 4:55.54. Cortes, 4:47.37. Griffiths, 4:47.81. Ramirez, 4:59.30. Gaitan, Great Oak, 450.596. Fugoff, 451.26. Missinio.
