Hanukkah has 36 candles. That number is not symbolic, it's intentional. Jewish mysticism teaches that the original light of creation shined for 36 hours, a light that revealed truth, clarity, and meaning before it was hidden. Those same 36 lights return every Hanukkah. Not as fire, but as awareness, the ability to see clearly when life feels confusing or dark. 36 also represents the hidden righteous people who quietly hold the world together, not through power, but through inner light and presence. That's why we add a candle every night Because holiness, healing, and connection only survive by increasing. The moment light stops growing, it fades. So don't just light a candle. Add light to your thinking, your choices, your life. Hanukkah is not a memory. It's an activation.
