Episode 2: Understanding the Mind-Body Connection #46

Uzi Moses PhD argues that focused thought and emotion can physically heal the body by triggering the brain's chemical responses, linking neuroscience research by Dr. Joe Dispenza to ancient Jewish teachings from the Tanya. Negative emotions trap you in survival mode and harm health; collective meditation and unified intention across religions could heal humanity.

Our thoughts are the architects of our reality. So our thoughts literally shift matter, they affect matter. Okay, so it's something that is well known in esoteric wisdom for millennia. The power of the mind, the power of our thoughts. You know, one of the biggest, I think, messages of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to the world was, think good, it will be good. Because you really truly understand how important it is to convey that message. Because if we don't monitor and select the thoughts that we let into our being, then those thoughts could literally control us. And we need to understand that we are not our thoughts, but our thoughts are a very, very powerful thing. So Dr. Dispenza's research illuminates the tangible effect of our thoughts and emotions on our bodies. So, so through his studies, he has unearthed the staggering potential of the human mind to initiate healing, transformation, and even miraculous recoveries. So we hear stories about people that cured themselves from terrible diseases through shifting their thoughts. So there is the main, there is the saying that a lot of self-help gurus or self-help, you know, individuals are using, which is Where attention goes, energy flows. So what does that mean? It means that where you put your attention, you put your energy. So if you put your attention on a part of your body that is hurting or going through some sort of a challenge, then through the energy that is going through that area from, from the attention that you're putting into it, you can start a healing process. And it's really, really, really unbelievable and mind-staggering how the power of your mind, of your thoughts, and the attention that brings the energy into that specific area that you're thinking about can literally heal it. Because the way he explains it, that our mind, our brain has pretty much, how do you say it, like a pharmacy of chemicals. In our brain that are natural. We can heal ourselves without any, without any chemicals, without any pills or drugs that pharmaceutical companies are trying to sell to us. All we really have to do is train our mind, train our thoughts, and get healed through the power of the mind. And yes, it's already happened, it's already proven. It's something that if you are listening to this, you should learn and explore and understand more. Because this is what's happening now. This is something that was well known for the sages for millennia. But through, you know, just society and life, people have forgotten. People have forgotten who they truly are. They've forgotten the fact that they are creators of their lives. And there— the mind is a very, very powerful thing. But again, we have the mind and we have the body. So, so as the threads of scientific discovery intertwine with esoteric wisdom, we find ourselves drawn to the Tanya. The Tanya is a timeless manuscript pinned by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Ladi. And, and it's pretty much the idea that we have two souls, a godly one and an animal one, which is a natural one. And they are constantly fighting who's gonna be the dominant in our life, who's gonna take over our thoughts, speech, and actions, which are considered to be the garments of our soul. So when we talk about mind and body, we pretty much could say that it's the idea that the mind is, is, you know, um, um, Dr. Joe Dispenza, um, understand that there is a part in our brain called the pineal gland. And it's already also known in esoteric wisdom that the soul, the main part of the soul, is in the brain. And the pineal gland, which is in the size, is the size of a grain of rice and it's inside our brain. And it's, when activated, it's something that could help us connect to the invisible realm that exists in the present moment. And we know that the present moment is where everything is. It's where the creator is. It's where all the opportunities are. It's where change could be made, you know, and through prayer, meditation, we can access that. So the soul is not just something like a passenger within the vessel of the body. It is the very essence that emanates this physical shell. So our body is like, is like a shell, is like the vessel that carries it. So the body responds to the movement of the soul as a marionette dances to its puppeteer. So, so just imagine, you know, when you have a puppeteer that runs the body. This is how our soul emanates our body. So the parallels between the mind and the body and Dr. Dispenza and the Tanya are just Striking. Echoing the same fundamental truth in a language that bridges the scientific and the spiritual. So both Dr. Dispenza and the Tanya, written by Rabbi Zalman Schneur Vladi, speaks of a profound interconnectedness with thoughts and intentions orchestrates the symphony of our well-being. So, so what does that mean? What does that mean, orchestrates the symphony of our well-being? Yeah, it sounds simple. Think good, it will be good. Train your mind to think positively, but it goes more than that. So there is a very fundamental concept in the Tanya, which, which it's called moach shelita lalev, which means your mind should rule your heart because your heart is considered the physical, the body, right? So, and, and your mind is where your soul is. So your mind should control the heart. Because your heart is where all your emotions are. So, so the emotions are pretty much the conduit that connects you, or God forbid, disconnect you from the quantum field, from the creator of the universe. So this is And also in the Tanya, the emotions are also called the characteristics, which means that your emotion and how you feel truly defines who you are. So you're not your thoughts, you're not your speech, you're not your actions. You are what you feel. So if you have, God forbid, negative emotions, that are controlling you, then this is what's going on. So the negative emotions are created by what? By letting negative thoughts in. So the negative, so the thoughts turns into an emotion. So when we start thinking about something in a negative way, God forbid, and we're not being selective, I'm not saying no, I don't want to think that. There is better thoughts out there that I could select, right? I mean, we live in an incredible universe. It's just every breath, every heartbeat is a gift from the creator. And it's just amazing. I mean, also living in our generations with all the problems that we have and all the news trying to kind of make us feel like the world is You know, in a bad situation, which I don't recommend watching the news at all. You know, yes, we need to know what's going on and we need to kind of figure out things, but it really is something that constantly manipulates us and constantly makes us disconnect from our true essence as creators, as small creators, as part of something that is way bigger than, than, than just a human being. And when we are connected together as humanity, as community, as the community of humanity, which is something that we need to work on and we need to build together, which is to unite all religions and all people with the same consciousness. This is something that You know, has nothing to do with religion. This is something that has to do with being a human being, with how are we created, the genetics of who we are. And it's time for us to come together and to make that change. So, so this is what it means when Our thoughts and our intentions literally orchestrate the symphony of our well-being. And it's already proven through science that probably most of humans, you know, diseases or whatever it is, it's pretty much has to do with negative emotions, with living in a survival mode, which is also something I wanted to talk about. What is the idea of survival mode? What is survival mode? Because both Rabbi Zalman Schneur and Natanya talks about it, and Dr. Dispenza talks about it. And being in survival mode is living in doubt, is not having the confidence that that God has your back, that the universe has your back. You are a created being because you are loved and you are here for a reason. Otherwise, if there is no reason, then nothing would have come into existence. And if you are here and if you are existent, exist, you are enough. And there is, you don't need anything external to be validated. Just the idea that you hear, it's already enough for you to connect, to be joyous. So as we contemplate this connection between the mind and the body, between the soul and our body, between our Godly soul and our animal soul, We stand at the precipice of transformation because that's what it's all about, guys. When we start really understanding those concepts, when we start to think about them, to meditate, to work on ourselves, and grow to our full potential. There is going to be a transformation, and you're going to feel this transformation. So the concept of aligning the Soul with the body, as described in the Tanya, resonates deeply with Dr. Dispenza's teachings on aligning thoughts and emotions with the body's healing process. So now all I can say, look, I mean, I have not met Dr. Dispenza. I know he's not a Jewish person, but it doesn't matter. He is just an incredible human being that really found out the truth. And right now he is Working hard on uniting people from all religions to meditate together and to put our attention on the well-being of the Earth, of humanity, of all living beings, and to make a shift in the world. And It's just incredible how everything that he teaches and everything that he discovered through his research aligned perfectly with the esoteric wisdom of Litania. So, also, the idea that our thoughts could heal our bodies, It's something that people were afraid to talk about just few years back. Nobody really had the courage to come and say, listen, you don't need pharmaceutical drugs because you have all the pharmaceuticals in your mind. And if you put your attention at the right place, then your mind will create the medicine to heal your body. And this is something that was a myth, but now it's proven. And there is so many people that already healed. There is people that started walking that were on wheelchairs and they started walking. Because they put their attention on healing their body, and their mind released the pharmaceutical drugs or chemicals that our body can create on its own, without any external drugs, to heal itself. So, So the Tanya is really also about harmonizing the Soul and the body, which means understanding that we have the animal Soul, which is also considered the Soul that we have, which is in the blood. And then we have the Godly Soul, which is the actual part of the Creator. The actual part of the Creator. It is like the diamond, it is like the most purest thing that exists. And we want to make that part, that actual part of the Creator, the most dominant part of our lives. So Rabbi Zalman Schneur, wisdom, guides us towards a more harmonious existence, which means being less physical and more Godly. It's a dance where the mind's intent, like a skilled conductor, guides the symphony of the body to a state of equilibrium. And vibrant health. So, so what, so, so what the Tanya is saying, saying, think positive. Your thoughts going to create the emotions. It's going to determine how you feel, and how you feel is who you are. So when you live in doubt and when you live in a survival mode, then it's going to affect your body, it's going to affect your health. And when you do that, God forbid, when somebody is in a survival mode for many, many, many years, then it's going to have an effect on the body. And there is a way to heal everything through our mind. We can heal our body. So, so you have to understand that, that this is not, you know, this is very serious. And Dr. Joe Dispenza have proved it again and again and again and again. And it's happening every single day. The mind is the healer of the body. Let that sink in. The mind is the healer of the body. So, so this— there is a symbiosis. Between scientific revelations. That's right now. I think Joe Dispenza is probably one of the top in the world in revealing this, this information. Really, you know, study after study after study shows the idea and, and, and the symbiosis between scientific revelations and esoteric insights that encourage us to embrace the influence we hold over our physical vessels. So we are called to embark on an inner pilig— pilgrimage, which means we have to make an inner change. And we have to go on a path which will be the journey where our thoughts becomes the compass guiding our well-being. And that well-being is in every aspect of our life— physical, emotional, relationship, finance, finances, everything. Everything could be achieved through this transformation. But you got to take the first step, and you got to start the journey of transformation. And so, my dear listeners, as we navigate this uncharted territory, let us take a moment to ponder the marvel of our existence, the interplay between the ethereal and the corporeal.
