On Shabbat HaChazon, every person receives a spiritual vision of the Third Holy Temple. Rabbi Hillel's parable compares this to a father who hides his finest garment after his son destroys two others, showing it only to inspire better behavior. The truly righteous may see it with physical eyes.

This Shabbat is called the Shabbat of Vision. The reason for this is that on this Shabbat, every person gets the ability to envision the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Rabbi Hillel brings in the name of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak a parable to explain. It's a story about a father and a son. The father made a very expensive garment to his son, but the son tore it to pieces The father made him a second one, a very expensive one, very expensive garment, but son again tore it to pieces. When the father saw that his son is not behaving, he made him a third garment, but this time he didn't give it to him. From time to time, on special occasions, the father brings out the garment and shows it to his son. He promises him that if he improves his ways, If he internalizes positivity and does good deeds, he will receive the third garment. In this way, the father gets his son to behave properly. The moral of the story is that God gave his people, humanity, the first Holy Temple, and the temple was destroyed due to their sins. After that, he gave them the second Holy Temple, and again It was destroyed since they did not act with human dignity towards one another. Which is why God is not giving us the Third Holy Temple so easily. Only once a year, on this particular Shabbat, Shabbat of Vision, the Creator is just showing it to us through a vision with the goal to awaken us to change our ways so we'll merit its rebuilding. The question is, who can actually see that vision? Of the Holy Temple, of the Third Holy Temple? I mean, if it's only shown to only righteous people and refined souls, then the goal of awakening the masses is missed, since they can't see the vision. The same question is also being asked regarding the different types of divine voices. According to the Talmud, there is a divine voice that comes out every day The answer is that only our soul can listen and hear it, which is why some people awaken suddenly without a reason, change their way of life completely for the better. This divine voice is being heard by the soul of that person and awakens him. It brings him good thoughts and makes him perform good deeds, which is also the explanation to our questions. Who can actually see that vision on this, on this Shabbat? With our limited 5 senses, we can't see the Third Holy Temple. Only on this particular Shabbat, Shabbat of Vision, our soul, which is more refined and gentle, can literally sense it and receives that vision. It has a great impact on us, although it's not— we're not always aware of that impact. The ones that their body is refined enough though, they can actually see it. The righteous people can actually see it with their physical eyes. Thank you for watching. Please share, like, and subscribe. May we all see the Third Holy Temple with our own eyes.
