In this brief spiritual teaching, the speaker explains that the Creator’s divine light is so intense that an unprepared human soul would be overwhelmed, likened to a candle placed in a forest fire. To safeguard the soul and enable it to receive this light, God provides “garments” that act as a protective covering. These garments are metaphorically formed from the individual’s positive thoughts, speech, and actions, and are bestowed by the Creator’s light itself, allowing the soul to bear and absorb the divine intensity without being nullified.

The light of the Creator is tremendous and overwhelming. When exposed to it without the proper garments, the human soul can get nullified of its existence. Just imagine a candle that finds itself in a huge forest fire. This is why God gave our souls garments. It's a protection from the intense light of the of the Creator and the ability to receive that light. The garments are made of our positive thoughts, speech, and actions. The garments are given by the light of the Creator so they can bear the intensity of it and protect us.
