Which level of your soul are you holding?

In this short teaching, Uzi Moses PhD draws on the Zohar and the writings of Baal HaSulam to describe three attainable levels of the human soul: Nefesh, Ruach, and Neshamah. He defines Nefesh as instinctual reaction and self‑protection, the default state for most people who act automatically and repeat emotional patterns. Ruach is characterized by a deeper emotional life, values, meaning, and inspiration, where individuals feel deeply and seek connection, yet remain governed by emotions. Neshamah is presented as a state of awareness that transcends reaction and emotion, allowing one to observe desire, choose alignment, and “enter Godliness” without escaping humanity. Moses outlines practical markers for each level—if reactions dominate relationships you are in Nefesh; if emotions dominate identity you are in Ruach; when awareness leads you are in Neshamah. He emphasizes that reaching Neshamah requires genuine inner work and encourages viewers to save or share the video if it clarifies their current state.
