The lyric video performed by Song‑Ze Yu presents a stream‑of‑consciousness style song that oscillates between feelings of self‑doubt, fatigue, and a waning sense of purpose, and moments of encouragement, playful optimism, and affirmation of simple joys. The narrator questions who will shine, expresses frustration with changing appearances and lost energy, and admits forgetting how dreams feel. Yet the verses shift to celebrate childhood memories, colorful experiences, love, and the idea that despite personal failures the world remains not entirely bad. The overall message urges perseverance – "Life maybe sucks, but we're so rocks. Try not to give up" – wrapped in whimsical "la la" refrains and vivid, sensory imagery.
