In this Hindi YouTube short, the speaker explains a traditional belief associated with Maha Shivratri: on this night the divine Shiva element is said to touch the earth and spread throughout the entire atmosphere. Shiva is presented as the ultimate cause (the "cause behind all causes") of every event, problem, or blessing in the world. Consequently, when devotees appeal to Shiva on Maha Shivratri—through prayers, mantra recitation, or other remedies—their effects on the devotee’s life are not only realized but are magnified many times.
