And they'll just come once you stand it. They'll just come. Go, go closer, closer. So this is feeding the hummingbirds. Look at that, and they come right up to her hand. They're creating their own wind.
It feeds on the go, and it's a line feeder. Yeah, it's big. It's one of the biggest of the lemon bass.
Now, is that the same one that you said had the white—
No, no, that's just a jumping white for a second.
So I'm here with Chris Colwyn, Chris Perry, AKA—
my nickname is Sheep Head. Sheep Head? Yeah, man, that's my nickname. Inshallah, you must get a nickname.
Chris is my first cousin.
Yeah, yes.
Chris, you're also the the owner of, of this business, right? What's the official name?
CP Tours and Taxi Service. I started with the taxi service at first. Okay, that's my company. Okay, I'm a 5-star TripAdvisor-rated tour guide, number 2 of 98 things to be done in Tobago. I'm at that rating right now.
Number 2?
Yeah, number 2 of 98 things to be done in Tobago. Wow, that's my rating on TripAdvisor. I actually started after with the bird sanctuary. That's the taxi service. And if you follow me this way, I'll show you This was established in 2017. This is when I hung my first bird feeder outside, and it took me about 3 weeks before I got my first bird coming. And after that, I just keep developing, developing. And as I go to different places, I saw the demand for something like this, and I decided that I'm going to go commercial into the bird sanctuary business. And this is what I did.
So you had a great strategic plan?
Plan, yes, yes. Uh, subsequent to that, I started an Airbnb. I have a nice one-room bedroom at the basement, okay? And at the back, you can just walk to the— definitely show you where it's at. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you wake up to this every morning. It's very therapeutic.
All right, listen folks, if you ever come to Tobago, Airbnb overlooking the Atlantic, right? Okay, look at this.
And at the bird sanctuary we have 3 feeding stations. So where we were at, we were at the first feeding station, feeding station 1, and this is feeding station 2 on the Bannister, right?
Gotcha.
We have the mice station. This is feeding station 3. Okay, this one here, right? This is— they, they have the time when they are more active, and even the evening time, feeding station 1 is more active. Okay, so if you have a little drizzle in now, all stations will be active.
So the rain brings them out.
Bring them out, exactly, right? So this is the area to the Airbnb.
So if someone wants to get in touch with you from the US, all my information is online.
Okay, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, you name it. Okay, right. And I do frequent ads, but I can share my number with you now. Okay, 186-496-3286. Okay, call me at any time. I run a 24-hour taxi service as well. Yes, you call me 1 o'clock in the morning, I can get the taxi to where you are.
Perfect, perfect.
If you turn your camera this way, this is the Atlantic Ocean. You come a little to this side, that's the Prime Minister's residence right down there. Oh, right, right.
With the tennis courts, basketball court at the back.
That's it. Yeah, that's official residence for the Prime Minister.
If I could zoom in on that.
Yeah.
Right?
That's not his personal house, but some people claim that's not true. That's the government official Prime Minister's residence. Okay, so it does not belong to the Prime Minister itself.
It's the people's house.
So whoever is the Prime Minister at the time, yeah, that's where they could stay when they come to Tobago.
Are you sure? He gets a nice view to the Atlantic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fantastic, fantastic. So the Airbnb, you get a view to the Atlantic when you come, you get a view.
Yeah.
You get a view to the Atlantic and a view to the Prime Minister's House.
And you get a view of the hummingbirds.
You can't beat that.
To the mountains. Yeah, look at that, the range. That's Fort French, Fort at the very top there where you see the antennas.
Okay, French Fort there.
Yes, that's overlooking Scarborough. There's a very panoramic view from that area. Why is it going— it's green, it has a little bit of mauve on the neck and black on the wings, but when it opens the tail, the tail is all white.
Beautiful. That's beautiful. And that one is called what?
The rufous-breasted hermit. Rufous-breasted hermit. And in the animal kingdom, the birds especially, the brighter the color tells you that that's the male. Right, right, right. Okay, okay.
Oh, look at him, he's got food on there. This is so much fun. I could—
I want to tell you thank you for gracing me with your presence, and I know that I will definitely be blessed because the fact that you would have taken your time out to bring the children of the Baptist Church share. I am honored. Thank you for coming.
