Foreign.
Hello, beautiful people. Today I've got Candy Grapes by Fushi Fouche. All right, let's get into it. All right. So most of the song is really easy. It just revolves around these four chords. First one's going to be a major chord. Regular. Awesome. A major chord. And I'll go over the strumming later. So it's gonna go A major and then you're gonna go to a C sharp minor followed by an F sharp followed by a B minor. That is like the foundation for almost the entire song. And the picking pattern is going to be. I kind of think about it like dick dum dum dun dun. I don't know if he plays with his hand or with the pick. I'm playing with my hand. And so basically what I'm doing is you hit the thumb with your bass, basically your thumb. And then you're going to do these three fingers on your D, G and B string. And then leave your pinky attached. And then you're going to just go back with those fingers. He might also be going. Which is where you're going to just pick the. The. The root and then go up to your B string and then strum down. I feel like that's probably more accurate to what he's doing. I haven't practiced it as much though. Got that. Cool. So at a certain point, like after Steve Lacy's verse, I'm not exactly sure how many times it goes, but he's gonna do the regular pattern, which is. And it's going to change. And then he, like says, something was this, it was this it. Something like this. And what it ends up being is. Cool. Let's. Let's learn how to play that part. So this little bridge section, it's gonna. You're gonna get into it by doing like half of the original progression. So you're gonna have this, A major, C sharp. But then when we land on the F sharp chord, instead of being F sharp minor, it's going to be F sharp major for two bars. So, like where you would go F sharp minor to B minor. Now it's just going to be just F sharp major for the whole time. And then it's going to go B minor for a bonjour. E major, open chord. Then you're gonna go. It's gonna be this walk down two beats per chord. A major, G major, same shape, Same shape, F sharp major, four beats for the F sharp major, then back to G major for two, And then E major. And then this is where he's like, oh, what is it? And then basically you're just gonna. You're gonna touch an E major to F major and then it's gonna go back to. It's gonna go to the next part, which is basically the same as the first part. Got that? So just to review. So we got. Now we're going in the bridge.
3, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3, four. 1, 2, 3, four. 1, 2, 3,4. 1, 2, 3, four. 1, 2, 3, frour.
Something. I'm not sure exactly how you would perform it, but you got to just go from. From E to F before you go back to the last part. Cool. So after that, we're going to go to the last section, which uses the same chords as the beginning. A little slightly different, but it's all the same. And it's going to sound like this. Cool. So the strumming pattern is going to be. So it's basically just going like on an eighth note, like down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up for the first three. So sometimes it can get a little tricky to move through the chords really quickly and smoothly. So you don't always have to play that last up if it helps you get there a little smoother. So, like, kind of muted it on that last up. Did you hear that? That can help you get a little smoother. So after we go, We're going to go. We would normally go to the B minor chord, but instead we're going to go two frets up to a C sharp minor chord and we're going to just slide it down. You strum like a total of three times. And the hardest part of this section is getting from that last B to the. To the A back to the A chord, because it's kind of. It's kind of far. Because you could also play this, like, open A chord. Although I don't know if I would really recommend that. Just get used to the. Cool. That's pretty much the whole song. I hope this is clear for you guys. Let me know if you have any other questions. And also leave more requests down at the bottom. If you requested a song in the past and I haven't gotten to it yet, drop it again. I read the comments on the most frequent videos the most.
