Hi, everyone. Today we're going to be looking at Steve Lacy's jars of it off of his ep, the Lo Fi's. I'll play it once and then I'll show you guys how. And that's it. Okay, so I'm going to go through all the chords once and then I'll show you guys the strumming patterns. So in order, it's a B major 7, 2, a D sharp dominant 7, 2 A C minor 9, which is going to come back later to an F sharp dominant 7, then to an E flat minor 7 with a flat 9, followed by an A flat minor 7 followed by a C sharp minor 9. This is the one I said was going to come back. And then the first ending is going to be an E major 7, which will take us back to our B major 7 at the beginning. So let me show you guys how that first time sounds. And the only thing that's going to be different, the second ending is instead of this E major 7, we're going to go to this D sharp dominant 7, sharp 9 chord. And the second time is going to be pretty much the same. It'll sound like this. So now I'm going to show you guys this drumming pattern, which is actually a little bit tricky. So make sure you take the time to learn this part correctly. Slow it down. I'll show it to you first at full speed, just for the first two chords. So to learn this, I would recommend that you first get comfortable just doing these 16th notes. Up and down, just a chugga, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug. And once you get your hand in that rhythm of just the up and down for everyone, everything is going to just fall into place. So then it's going to go down, up, down, up, up. I'll show you. So the second one, it's all going to be on the upstroke. So it's going to go down, up, down, up, up, up, down, up, down, up, up, up, down, up, down, up, up, up, down, up, down, up, up, up. And that pattern is going to repeat for the entire progression. So, for example, it's going to go. And so on. So some things to remember while you're learning this, take things slow. Make sure you get that strumming pattern really solid. I would recommend you just practice going like this. Until you get really solid with that, and then you can take it through the entire progression. Okay, I'm gonna run through it one more time for good measure. Also make sure that when you guys play it, the first note should be longer rather than shorter. I was just doing it shorter earlier just to get the rhythm really clear. So it's going to be more like, you know. Okay, I'll do it once through. If you guys have any questions or other requests, please leave them in the comments. Good luck, everybody.
