Lay Me down by Steve Lacy Guitar Tutorial I know this is super late. I'm in my kitchen right now. Alright, I'll do it once and I'll show you guys how. And that's it. Alright, we're a little closer now. First, D minor 9. That's going to be followed by a G7 key plays a little bit weird with one finger per each string. You could also play with a bar like this. Just make sure that that note is your top note. So you want to hear this beating from here too. So you're going to go. Followed by F major 7. Make sure this high E string, you can let it ring. So you're going to go. You're just going to strum those top three strings. You're going to pick them. Immediately after that we're going to go back to our D minor 9, same chord as our first chord all together. And you're going to play it twice. Loop again, Loop again. And that's the thumbnail. Alright, Some things to keep in mind. Your melody note, AKA the top note of each voicing is going to be on this B string, your second thinnest string. You want to hear this. And finally, look, I know you guys want to learn how to do the solo and I know that you know that I could probably play it for you guys, but it's also kind of a lot of work. If you guys tell me in the comments that you really want it, I'll do another video covering the solo. Okay, I got you guys. But in the meantime, let me just give you guys a little bit of advice because really the best way to learn this is going to be by ear. Basically, you're going to put your index finger on this 12th fret. And this is the position that he does the whole solo in. So his hand does not move from these four frets right here. He's going to move between the strings, but this is the position. So it's going to be like. So it's just like if you can just listen to the recording, just know that his hand stays here and then eventually he's going to go. Something like that. All right, enjoy guys. If you have any other questions, leave them in the comments below. And if you guys really want to solo, which I know you guys are freaking going to just comment and I can make another video with the tabs and everything. Best of luck.
