A closed-loop water system for washing clothes filters water down to 0.1 nanometers, removing nearly all contaminants. The cleaned water gets reused in the washing process, cutting fresh water use and wastewater to near zero.

Last year we implemented a system which is a fully closed-loop circular system, which I just mentioned before. The technology behind it is reverse osmosis and catalytic wet air oxidation. So it's an integrated system where you filter out water to a point where it's 0.1 of a nanometer. Now you're wearing masks and we all know COVID. COVID is 20 nanometers. When we filter out substances to 0.1, that's about 200 times smaller than the COVID particle. And when you do that, you filter out almost everything where the water is clean enough, wouldn't be gamey enough to drink it, but it is good enough for being reused back into the productive-culottes. You end up with basically zero discharge of wastewater on the output end, and we don't need to add in fresh water because we've now got a closed-loop system of water to clean clothes.
