Hilmond Hui argues that automation is eliminating jobs across industries, from airport passport kiosks to textile robots that make t-shirts without workers. He says companies should build technology that makes workers more productive, not replaces them, especially for people who've spent years in these jobs.

I think that's a really good example of how the technology becomes a threat to something that we haven't talked about, to answer this question, and that's the workers. You know, in the airports, we now have kiosks that take care of the people that come in. You no longer have to go to the counter. What does that mean for the jobs of the people that used to take the passports and scan them? And you know, we're facing that today in the textile industry as well. All these robotics are coming out. You don't need a person to make t-shirts anymore. What does that mean for our workers? And for me personally, within my company, I think that the innovation and the technology that we invest in should enhance the output of our workers instead of replace them. We need to keep in mind that these people have worked in this industry for that many years, and without it, they may not have a job.
