In this first‑person testimonial, Glenn E. explains why he sought a facilitator training program that prioritized integrity and deep, trauma‑informed discussion. He describes his initial attraction to Psychedelic Concierge through the personalities of Zappy and program director Lois, and how the program delivered the “meat” he was looking for: rigorous conversations, a supportive community, and practical skill‑building. Glenn highlights specific components such as breathwork integration, comprehensive intake/aftercare/integration protocols, and weekly cohort calls. He emphasizes the value of a network of experienced facilitators who can offer real‑world guidance, and he contrasts the program’s challenging, growth‑focused approach with superficial validation‑only trainings. Concluding with a strong recommendation, he advises prospective students to consider whether they want a program that challenges them, provides mentorship, and upholds a sacred, collaborative ethos.

Well, when I was looking for a facilitator program, I was really concerned about integrity, about people who are willing to have real discussions about the real things that come up in these types of ceremonies so that I could be educated, so I could have a good foundation for myself because I wanted to show up the best I could for my clients. And I was coming from a lot of trauma, and there are some containers that were just wanting to do the surface level stuff, and that might be fine for them and that might be their zone, but for me, it was looking for people who were really ready to get into the nitty-gritty of things and to support people through that. When I was part of Psychedelic Concierge, I was initially called in just because the personality of Zappy, his background, and what he was drawn into. But then as soon as I got involved with the program director, Lois, then I really saw the meat that was— this program was providing. That's what I was really looking forward to. I was looking forward to having those hard, difficult discussions, being able to do it in a community where we're all getting to benefit from each other's experiences and things we've tried, things that have failed, things that have worked, things that have been just absolutely beautiful and able to be challenged. I was challenged in a lot of ways. There are certain things about doing this type of work that I hadn't even really thought about, and it caught me a little bit by surprise, and that's when I knew we had joined exactly the right program. It was not only foundational for what we did, it ended up becoming this network of human beings and other facilitators that are now our colleagues, that are now people that we get to grow with and change with and really deliver top-level support for the individuals that we work with. Psychedelic Concierge not only provided that, but there's also a network of individuals that I can reach out to one-on-one. That when I saw somebody who had breathwork experience, that's something that I'm learning, that I'm getting more involved into. There are people who were already well-versed in that, and now I had a resource, somebody that could guide me with real-world guidance from what they did and explain to me what the benefits are. I've used breathwork every single ceremony, use it every single day, but using it is not the same as being a practitioner of it. And that's the same thing that I found with psychedelic concierge is a lot of times people can have experiences in their own healing work, but taking that experience and moving it into being a practitioner, that requires guidance, that requires somebody giving you kind of the lay of the land and what to look for. And not only that, there was also what is your intake gonna look like? How does your aftercare look like? What does integration look like? And so providing it from start to finish, soup to nuts, It was just an amazing program and benefited so much from it. Every single week we have our calls. It's been amazing. I would first ask them, what are you looking for out of a facilitator program? You know, are you looking for somebody who's willing to get into the nitty-gritty or something's really going to challenge you? Or are you just looking for validation? Because you're not going to just get validation from Psychedelic Concierge. You're going to get challenges. And I think that's important to have in a program. And that can only come from people who are doing the work, who are well-vested and have experience in the work and are able to do it but not demean you or make you feel as though that you're failing or just to raising the tide for everybody. And if you're looking for a network of people who are solid and committed to this sacred work, then this is a place for you to look. This is absolutely the spot.
