Zappy Zapolin pitches Sam Altman a theory: a future superintelligent AI would only preserve humanity if everyone used plant-based psychedelics from birth. He cites Johns Hopkins and Yale research on psychedelics' benefits, arguing the drugs would create a utopian society the AI would want to keep around, like ornamental fish.

I go over to Sam Altman and I said, Sam, I go, I'm Zappy Zapolin, I'm a psychedelic concierge. She's like, oh, that's cool. And I was like, yeah, I go, do you want to hear my theory about how psychedelics save us from the AI? And he's like, yeah. He goes, here, sit here. So we sit on the couch. I tell him, my theory is that the AI reaches superintelligence, it looks around at the humans like Terminator and goes, oh man, these humans are like very disruptive. They might cause a nuclear war. Block out the sun, we need the soil, maybe we get rid of them. I go, but they look at the research that's come out of Johns Hopkins and Yale on plant medicine, and they look at and they realize that if humans had had plant medicine since the day they were born, all through their life, this place would be a utopia. And he was like, holy shit, I'm with this. And I said, and the reason that they keep us around, the only reason is that they— that we are mandated that we all have to do plant medicine. We do it and they keep us around like we keep a fish tank. We can't— the fish can't do anything for us, but you just like seeing organic life, you know. Yeah. And so this is happening. It's part of— it's part of the— what do they call— the weekly wage. There'll also be a little baggie. Yeah, this is your baggie. Here you go. Yeah. And, and I, I topped it off. I basically— I pulled my light, one of these lighters that I have for the Mind Army. This is a social movement called the Mind Army. And I said, Sam Altman, I go, I want to give you this lighter.
