Short YouTube discussion introducing the book 'The Invincible Company.' Speakers argue that despite earlier tools (Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition, Testing Business Ideas), many companies still cannot systematically reinvent themselves; the book aims to provide practical tools, processes, and business-model patterns to help firms become 'invincible' and identify repeatable vectors of success rather than just isolated success stories.

We wrote another business book because we still can't observe enough companies reinventing themselves systematically. We created a shared language with business model generation the business model canvas at the doers level. Then we created value proposition, design, testing business ideas. But even after all those books and the books that are out there, we observe that a lot of companies are still lacking the ability to reinvent themselves. So what we try to do with the invincible company is we try to show them with tools and processes and business model patterns what they need to put in place in order to be able to reinvent themselves and become invincible.
What I was so excited about with this book was we were able to actually find a way of saying here are some very interesting vectors for success that are all very applicable rather than here's some guys who did it right. Cool. What have you done right? Which is what a lot of success stories are really all about. And success stories aren't all you need for success. You need the secret to the success. And the focus of this book on the idea of patterns that people can pick up and use in their own business model, I think is a really, really powerful thing that hasn't been done anywhere near this extent.
