Someone spent years skipping family trips and holidays for work, then realized it wasn't worth it. They're sharing the regret publicly to push others to choose family first.

Like I made a lot of sacrifices pretty much all the time to work over being with friends and being with family. I wouldn't go on family trips. I wouldn't go home for the holidays because I'd be working. And now I would never do that again. Like
I
would just never do it again because I realized that it's just not, it's just not worth it. And so it's a big reason why I share about that publicly because I think it's important for other people to reach that point.
