We're not using a lot of the tools and techniques that we've known worked for 5 decades now, 50 years, half a century. Things like mastery learning. Saul Kahn really popularized this idea in a book called The One World Schoolhouse. But mastery learning is the simplest idea. It is that you progress based off of knowledge instead of time. And I think that if we do that for a kid like myself, we'll have a much better society. And I don't care if we wanna keep the existing system for people who like it.

Right.

So when you're 12 to 13, 13 to 14, you like— it doesn't need to work like that. I'm just trying to say that system doesn't work for every single kid.
