Most failing startups aim for 10% to 50% improvements when they need 10x better to change user habits. Incremental gains can't overcome the friction of how people already do things. Breakthroughs require an order of magnitude leap.

I think a lot of middling and then failing startups are a result of like, ooh, I can make this thing 10% better, maybe 30% better or 50% better. But like, if you're going to ask somebody to change a habit and adopt a new piece of technology, it's got, you know, 10x is kind of the bar.
That's true.
If you think about things that are truly, truly transformational and truly tip in a certain direction. Like, you got to make something that's 10x better.
