In this video, I'm going to be sharing with you an absolutely incredible app that all actors should be using. And when you do use it, it's going to give your career an edge. Okay, let's get started. Hey, I'm Aaron Marcus, and welcome to the Actor and Model Quick Tips channel and the Actor Career Center, where I take the 36+ years that I've been working as a full-time actor and share inside information with you. And hopefully this will be very helpful to you. Uh, don't forget, Watch this video to the very end. I've got a special bonus that I know will be really, really helpful to you. And if you guys haven't done this yet, click the subscribe button and the notification bell, and that way every time I upload a new video, you will know about it. And, and please share this link with other fellow actors and models as well so we can, you know, build the channel with people helping each other. In this video, this app that I'm going to be sharing with you, number one, you can get a free version of it and it's powerful. Let me just tell you, it is really hard to work as an actor. One of the things that I find, especially at the very, very beginning of my career, was the unknown. And what I mean by the unknown is You go in and you do an audition and you don't know. You have no idea what's going on. And it doesn't matter whether you feel like you did a great audition, you did a horrible audition. Well, of course it— well, you could still do a horrible— what you think is a horrible audition and book the job. But the point is we have no control and everything is up in the air. It's not like casting directors will contact me and say, hey, Aaron, just wanted to let you know, love the audition, but the client decided to go elsewhere. It's, it's very, very unusual. Not saying it never happens. It's very unusual to hear that from a casting director. It's unusual to hear that from an agent. Most agents don't contact all of their talent to say, hey, just wanted to let you know you didn't book the job. Once again, sometimes you'll, you'll hear that. So there is this unknown. The same thing holds true if you are trying to get representation with an agent. Or you want to send information to a casting director, or if you're trying to get commercial work or voiceover work and you're sending information to art and creative directors at advertising agencies, you can send them emails and then who knows what's happening. You don't even know if they've received it. That part is really hard. It's that unknown. So there's an app, and this is really cool. It's called Boomerang, and it's used with Gmail. You can use it on an iPhone, you can use it on an Android, and there are lots of things that you can do with this program. Like I said, there is a free version. You can pay for a more advanced program, but you can see the link below. This is the The link for Boomerang. And one of the things that I absolutely love about this program, this app, is that you can send something to somebody and you will get a verification back if they opened up your email. And I'm telling you, that has been a Game changer for me. If I have really important information and I send it off to somebody and I don't hear that they opened it up, who knows? Maybe it just got lost somewhere. Maybe it went into somebody's spam filter. Maybe it got blocked. Who knows? But this is information that I needed somebody to have. And then at least that way I do have some recourse and I can call the person if, If needed. I find that I rarely call an agent just to talk with them. If it's something important, yes. But I can tell you agents, at least— and I work with a lot of agents in different markets— most of the time they are so busy with submitting people, getting information about projects, negotiating, get the information back to their clients. They really don't have time for lots of phone calls. And especially if this is an agent that you are trying to get representation with, you don't want to call the agent and say, hey, just wanted to find out, did you get the information that I sent? It's not a good way to start off with the agency. So by using Boomerang, you can set it up in a way where when somebody opens it up, you will get a notification. And for the free version, and look, I know that things change. As of now, as far as I know, you can do this 10 times a month with the free version. And then after the month is over, then you get another free 10 emails that you can send where information will be sent back to you verifying that it has been opened. So I just wanted to make sure that you know about Boomerang. It is amazing. And by the way, just so you guys know, I'm not making any money off of this thing. You know, I'm not sending you a special link where I get money back from, from Boomerang, you know, in case you do decide to sign up for the pro version, which I do not have at this point. I still just use the free version, but I just wanted to let you all know about it. And if I mentioned I was going to share a really special bonus with you, if you just look right up there, you will see the link for a special video that I created where there are 7 incredible apps that you need to look at. And a lot of these are ones that you've probably never heard of or used. Watch the video. It's going to be really helpful to you. So anyhow, I just wanted to share this one with you. And once again, if you haven't subscribed yet, please subscribe to the channel, click the notification bell, and look, share this link with fellow actors and models. Let them know about this, give them more information about the industry. And this is a way where we can help build a great channel with people helping each other. I'm Aaron Marcus, and I can't wait to talk with you again soon. See ya.
