In this YouTube quick‑tip, Aaron Marcus explains how actors using the Actors Access platform can improve their chances of being cast. He emphasizes that a demo reel is the preferred material for casting directors, but if a reel is unavailable, a 7‑second slate—essentially a talking headshot matching the actor’s headshot wardrobe—should be created. Marcus models the slate by stating his 30‑year acting career and over 1,200 booked jobs within the allotted time. He urges viewers to adopt this strategy, invites them to subscribe, share, and donate via PayPal to support his Acting and Modeling Quick Tip channel, and highlights his goal of building a supportive acting and modeling community.
