In this YouTube monologue, veteran actor and commercial model Aaron Marcus (30+ years, 1,200+ jobs, credits on House of Cards, Gotham, Mr. Robot, etc.) explains how performers can find acting and modeling work in small or non‑Hollywood markets. He advises viewers to (1) check their state or local film commission websites for upcoming productions and casting director contacts, and (2) explore industrial, training, and corporate film projects—work commissioned by companies, associations, and government agencies such as the U.S. Navy, IRS, and AT&T. Marcus emphasizes that these opportunities are abundant even in smaller markets. He concludes with typical YouTube calls to action, directing viewers to subscribe, enable notifications, like the video, and visit his sites howtoact.com and howtoactandmodel.com/small‑markets for more detailed guidance.
