Hi, here's another acting and modeling quick tip with me, Aaron Marcus. Look, I don't know if this has ever happened to you. It's happened to me a few times in my career. It's not that unusual, but I wanted to share it with you so maybe if it does happen, you'll be able to deal with it a little bit better. So I got a phone call about an audition for a training film that was being shot Saturday and Sunday. They weren't sure which day my character would be shot. I told the agent I was booked out on Sunday, but I would be available Saturday. Should I still go to the audition? She said yes. So went to the audition. After I signed in, I saw a note that said everything is being shot on Sunday. I'm not available Sunday. And I just spent half a day, or I will have spent half a day, lots of tolls, gas, and spent a lot of time working on the, on the sides, had it memorized, figuring out the character. And And it was, it was a little disappointing to know that I spent, you know, all this time, invested all this, and I'm not going to have a shot at booking the job. So I had a choice. I could either be angry, bitter about it, or there's another way that I could have viewed it. And this is the direction that I went in. It gave me an opportunity to read in front of a great casting director. It's somebody who I've worked with before, booked jobs with. before, and I thought the read was really good. I assume she thought it was good. And even though, no, I'm not going to be available for the shoot, hopefully she'll keep me in mind for future jobs because I just reintroduced myself to her. I hadn't seen her for probably 6 weeks. So anyhow, if this ever happens to you and you find out that there's no way you're going to be able to do the job because they've switched things around, you could feel angry and bitter, but Probably a much more positive way of viewing it is you're being seen by somebody and you're reminding them what you can do. And that's a really great thing. So look, if you've ever experienced anything like this, please share it on my Facebook page, facebook.com/howtomodel. You could also leave a note below just so you can, you know, you can help other people and tell us, you know, how you dealt with it. And if you're watching this on Facebook or on YouTube, please give it a thumbs up and like it and feel free to share this with other people throughout your social media platforms. I'm Aaron Marcus, and I look forward to talking with you again really soon.
