Houston Workshop June 1, 2019

Hi, my name is Aaron Marcus, and I've been very fortunate. I've been able to make my living as an actor and a commercial model for over 30 years. So far, I've booked over 1,200 jobs, my latest being getting cast in an NBC pilot that I just shot in Atlanta that hopefully will get picked up. But I am really excited about bringing my Book the Job workshop for actually the first time to Houston. And what I'm going to be doing in this workshop is sharing with you the secrets of my success, what I do on a daily basis. I'm going to be sharing with you the same techniques that I use when I'm auditioning, the same ways that I prepare before auditions. I'll be sharing with you how to market yourself, how to get work on your own. You're even going to learn what is your type so you have a better understanding of how people view you and what kind of jobs are right for you. You're going to learn specific ways of putting together an effective headshot and resume, how to put together commercial photos that will grab the attention of industry professionals, even how to get pictures taken free. But most importantly, you're gonna learn how to prepare before auditions, techniques to use when actually auditioning. I'm gonna have a practice audition for a TV commercial. You're gonna learn some amazing techniques that I use that will completely change the way you audition and really give yourself your best chance for success. We'll record the auditions, play them back, critique them. We'll do the same thing with having a practice go-see, a model's audition. And I'm going to show you techniques that I use when working with a still photographer. And we'll have a practice go-see, we'll take some photos, critique it, And discuss it. It's going to be an incredible day.
