Hi, my name is Aaron Marcus, America's premier acting and commercial modeling career coach, the founder of howtomodel.com, the author of How to Become a Successful Commercial Model, and I've been making my living as an actor and a commercial model for over 26 years. Quite often people will ask, so in the new year, any recommendations on what they can be doing to try to help get even more work? And absolutely, I do have some ideas. A couple of really quick things that I'll share with you here. One of them is our world is changing very dramatically, especially when it comes to electronics, how the industry is working. We've become much more technologically involved. And so without a doubt, one of the things that you really want to be doing in the new year is make sure you know how to shoot auditions from home You want to make sure that you've got some basic equipment that will allow you to shoot a really good photo so that if you can't attend a go-see or people need to see what you currently look like today, you know, even if it's just a good cell phone, you know, or an iPhone, just make sure that you've got that capability. You know how to resize things, you know how to shrink things so that you can easily email them to the agent or wherever the agent wants you to mail them. So make sure that you take some classes or you talk with people or you study online and just know how to do some of the basic things that all actors and commercial models need to be able to do to have success in this industry. If you have any questions at all, always feel free to email me at aaron@howtomodel.com. You can join my Facebook community at facebook.com/howtomodel. I also offer great private acting and commercial modeling online coaching sessions. And if you go to howtomodel.com, just click on workshops, you can read all about that. So anyhow, I want to wish you all a great new year, and I look forward to talking with you soon. I'm Aaron Marcus.
