Here's another acting and modeling quick tip with me, Aaron Marcus. There are times when you absolutely need to say no to your agent. And I know it's hard. You know, you think the agent's never going to call you again if you turn something down. They're not going to want to work with you if you turn something down. And look, the thing is, as important as our acting or modeling jobs are, as much fun as they are to do, the fact is, if there's If there's a project that you don't feel comfortable being a part of, you don't want to support, you don't want to promote, you say no. You say no in a very nice way. You can say, thank you very much for thinking of me. It's just not something I want to do. If you're a strict vegetarian, you might not want to do TV commercials for fast food restaurants because you don't want to promote eating meat. I turned down a job Where, without going into all the details, it was a political spot and I was supposed to be a guy on the street supporting this guy running for Senate. And this guy was saying such mean-spirited, such ugly things that went against everything that I believe in. I would not want to be the face for this guy. I didn't want to support him and I didn't want him to win. And so I thanked the agent. Um, but I didn't do the job. So as difficult as it is to say no, remember, our reputation, our lives are much more important than any acting or modeling job. And this is something that could haunt you for a very long time. So just make sure, don't go to the audition or the go-see, book the job, and then say, you know, I really don't want to do this. Tell your agent upfront that it's not something that you're comfortable doing. Thank them. And, you know, if your agent gives you a hard time, then they need to understand that this is who you are. These are your beliefs. These are your morals. And if that's an issue, then maybe you need to find another agent. But anyhow, that's the way I've always done things for over the past 30 years, and it's worked out really well for me. If you're watching this on Facebook, please give it a thumbs up. If you're watching this on YouTube, like it. And if you have any experiences where you turned things down, please share it with other people. So anyhow, I'm Aaron Marcus, and I look forward to talking with you again soon.
