Welcome to another Acting and Modeling Quick Tip with me, Aaron Marcus. I was at an audition for a television series in New York, and I did something that I thought was really helpful, and I want to share it with you. So most of the actors who were walking in to read for the casting director didn't bring in a headshot, and nobody asked. They just walked in and read and walked out. So I decided to ask the casting director as I was walking in, oh, would you like a headshot and resume? And he thought about it for a quick second and then said, yeah, sure, sure. Why don't you give it to me? So I gave it to him and I had the resume facing up. And when I walked in, he handed it to the director. And before I got myself settled, I noticed that the director was carefully going over my resume, which I thought would be really helpful to me only because I've done a bunch of TV shows. And I thought, well, maybe this will make him feel a little bit more relaxed in hiring me knowing that I've done television before. So that's something that I'm going to be doing for every audition I have. I will always ask, hey, by the way, would you like a headshot and resume? And then see what they say. If they say no, no big deal. But if they say yes, look, it can only help you so they can take a look at it and see what you've done. If you are watching this on YouTube, please give it a thumbs up.
