Hi, my name is Aaron Marcus, America's premier acting and commercial modeling career coach, the founder of HowToModel.com, the author of How to Become a Successful Commercial Model, and I've been making my living as an actor and a commercial model for over 26 years. You know, for people who are just getting started and they have to put together their first demo reel, one of the questions that comes up is, well, what kind of copy, what words can they actually use to create this demo reel? So something that I would recommend that you do is get the copy, get the words from really good radio spots. Don't use TV commercials, don't use ads in magazines, and I would not use the brand names. I would change some of the words around just so you're not dealing with any kind of copyright infringement, but at least it will give you a very good framework for really, really strong copy. And that is a wonderful way to get started by creating your first demo And just on a little bit of a side note, just make sure that the radio spot matches your voice well, that it's the kind of radio spot that would be right for you. This is just one of the many topics you're going to be learning when you register for the Voiceover Jobs Online Workshop. You'll even learn how to put together a great demo reel, how to get work even if you're living in a small market. You're going to learn how to find the right agent to submit you for voiceover work. I'm also going to be interviewing Ty Ford, who's an incredible incredibly successful voiceover artist. So simply click on the link below for additional information and to register, and I look forward to seeing you there.
