Hi, I'm Aaron Marcus, and I want to quickly tell you about a great online workshop that I have happening on July 11th. And by the way, if you're not free on the 11th, it doesn't matter. All the workshops are recorded, and you will have full access to the workshop along with all the bonuses anytime that you want. Uh, it's the Secrets to Auditioning Workshop, and I'm going to be sharing with you, uh, things that I've been doing for the past 30 years and what has allowed me to book over 1,200 jobs. My most recent booking Uh, which was so much fun, um, was the first 2 episodes of season 4 on House of Cards. And it was just an incredible experience. But let me share a really quick tip with you about auditioning. And here are the first few things that you absolutely need to do when you find out about an audition. Number one, make sure you're available for the dates. The other thing too is make sure it's a project that you are comfortable working on. Assuming that all those things are good, if it's a television show, then what you need to do immediately is start watching the show. Become very familiar with all the characters. Be familiar with the style of the show. Be familiar with the pacing of the show. What kind of dialogue do they have? Do people go very quickly back and forth with each other, or are people a little bit more laid-back? Do you have more time to breathe with your lines? Because that's how you want to do your audition. If it's a feature film, chances are you're not going to be seeing the entire script and you'll just be sent the sides. So find out, ask your agent who is directing this project. Go to IMDb.com, Internet Movie Database, look up the director. Look at the director's work and just go to YouTube and, you know, you can easily get clips of some of his or her projects and that will give you a good indication as to the style and keep that in mind when you are auditioning. So anyhow, I just wanted to share those quick tips with you. I'm Aaron Marcus. I really hope you decide to join me on July 11th. And once again, if you're not free, it doesn't matter. Just register. Even though it is online, I do have a limited amount of people who can attend. So click on the link below, save a seat, and can't wait to share my secrets to auditioning with you. See ya.
