An actor auditioned 14 times for the same show without booking. On the 15th try, they asked the casting director one question that changed how they played the character. They got the recurring role on House of Cards.
I auditioned for the same television show 14 times over 2 years and never booked a role. On the 15th audition, I asked the casting director this one question, and it completely changed the way I read for this character, and I booked a recurring role on the Netflix TV show House of Cards. So use the link below, watch the entire video, and I'm going to share with you what that question was and one other thing that I use for every audition that has been incredibly helpful to me. I really hope you enjoy this.
