Here's another acting and modeling quick tip with me, Aaron Marcus. So if you're ever in the position, and it's a great position to be in, where somebody's interested in casting you for, let's say, a TV show or a feature film, and they want you as a local hire, what should you do? And just really quickly, local hire means you are considered local, even though you might live far away, but they want to hire local people because they don't want to pay for transportation, they don't want to pay for hotels, and because actually, if Assuming it's a union project, which are the only ones I can work on. If you are flown to a job, you're not a local hire. Not only do they have to fly you out, but they have to fly you first class, depending on how many miles you are away from location. So there are some actors who will say, I'm not working as a local, you know, I'm not going to pay for transportation, I'm not going to accept the job. And I understand that. I have a very different philosophy. My thought is, if I have to— and I certainly will have my agent work as hard as possible to not make it a local, or at least get it to be a modified local, which means they will cover a night at a hotel, they will cover— sometimes they'll cover transportation, so it's not a complete local hire. But even if that doesn't happen, look, if it's a TV show or a feature film, I mean, typically you're looking at over $900 for an 8-hour day on the set. So even if I have to spend $150 or even if it's $200 on gas and hotels, that's still worth it to me. You know, this is something that I can add to my resume. If it's a really great role, I can add it to my acting reel. It could be invaluable to me. So I never turn down a job based on money, you know, whether it's a local hire or not. And, you know, there's always room to ask. There's always room to negotiate. And that's what I asked my agent to do. So anyhow, I just wanted to share that information with you. I hope you are in a position where you have to make a decision about whether you're going to accept a local hire contract or not. And best of luck to you.
