Hey, I'm Aaron Marcus. My agent told me about another actor who he represents, and she booked a great role on a TV, TV show. She was very excited about it. She posted it on Instagram and got fired. So let me tell you exactly what happened so that you make sure that you never make this mistake that could really hurt your career. So for a lot of television shows or feature films, you have to sign— it's called an NDA contract, NDA agreement. It's a non-disclosure agreement. Sometimes I've had to sign these just in order to audition for the show. I remember one that I did, it was a sequel to a big blockbuster movie, they didn't want anybody to know that they were getting ready to shoot the sequel. So I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Once again, it's a legal contract, and without going into all the legal mumbo-jumbo stuff, essentially it's saying you can't talk about it, not until after things have already come out, it's airing, because they just don't want people to give out any details about the project, which is very understandable. The woman books the role, posts it on Instagram saying how she's so excited, the name of the character, the name of the TV show. They fired her. She, she broke a contract. They didn't trust her, and they decided they just didn't want to deal with somebody who was irresponsible. They fired her and replaced her. So if you ever are asked to sign an NDA, treat it seriously. It is a very important document. I know, you know, we all get excited when we book something that's cool, but if you're not allowed to discuss it with other people, don't. It could really hurt your career. It could hurt your reputation. If you have ever been in a situation where you signed an NDA and you're allowed to discuss it now, please share it here so we can learn more from you about what your experience was like, what the project was all about, and when you were, you know, allowed to actually discuss it. Hey, the other thing too is don't, don't ever post an audition. I've seen people do that as well online where they do this great audition, it's for this project, they're Excited about it, they upload it. Don't ever do that. You're giving out information about a project. It's not good. It's not professional. If you haven't done this yet, don't forget, subscribe, click the notification bell so you always know when a new video has been uploaded. And if you like it, please give it a thumbs up. That's actually very helpful. And share the link with your fellow actors so we can continue building a great community. of actors who are helping each other and learning from each other. I'm Aaron Marcus, and I can't wait to talk with you again soon. See ya. See ya.
