Here's another acting and modeling quick tip with me, Aaron Marcus. I really love to work, and I rarely have turned down work in my 30-plus years as a full-time actor and commercial model. I think, I think it was twice that I did. Now I've turned down a third, and I wanted to tell you about it. I don't, I don't feel comfortable going into details about it, but let Let me just say, here's why I turned it down. Look, if you're cast in a film, you're cast in a TV show, you're going to play a character, and the character could be a horrible type of person. And I've auditioned, and actually, and I've done a few of those where this character— I mean, there was always something interesting about the character, but the guy was pretty nasty. What I turned down just the other day was a TV commercial that was a political spot, and the reason why I turned it down—not because it was someone that I wouldn't vote for. I mean, that that I wouldn't necessarily turn down. But what this person was saying was just. So outrageous to me, goes against everything that I believe in. And, you know, unlike a TV show or a film, it looks like you are really supporting this person. And I just, I just didn't want to do it. And like I said, don't like turning down jobs, but I just did not want to have my face, my words, my voice, saying things and supporting things that are so diametrically opposed to my beliefs. So I thanked the agent and I just said, you know, I'm going to pass on this one. And so that's what I did. So I just wanted to share that with you. And let me just tell you, it's okay to turn things down. You don't have to accept everything. If it's something that goes against your beliefs Whether it's your morals, whatever it is, say no to it because this is your life. This is who you are in this world, and what you're turning down is a job. So anyhow, listen, if you've turned down something, please share it with others here. Love to read about it. And if you're watching this on YouTube, please like it. If you're watching this on Facebook, give it a thumbs up. Really appreciate it. And as always, feel free to share this with others. others.
