I wanted to say a little bit more about artificial sweetener substitutes just on the recent article that came out. A lot of people want to replace sugar with something else. The problem is they usually replace it with something worse, whether it's aspartame, whether it's sucralose, whether it's Splenda. These are all things that actually mess up your hormones. And now it's coming out in the Washington Post that also can increase your risk for heart disease. This is all based on published research. The thing about people also trying other replacements, like sugar alcohols, that's super popular right now, even the health world using sugar alcohols to replace sugar. The reality is sugar substitutes many times are worse than the actual sugar because of what they do to your microbiome, which are the bacteria in your gut. They disrupt that and that affects your metabolic function, causing things related to metabolic syndrome. That's everything from diabetes to blood pressure to hypertension. And if you get diabetes, that's associated with all kinds of things, including breast cancer.
