I like to talk about a few basic cutting edge elite athlete high end biohacks that are anti aging, that improve longevity, that decrease your cancer risk and improve performance overall. Cold plunges. Now there's different types of cold plunge but the idea is you have a cold activation that lowers your body's inflammation. Doing a cold plunge and a cold tub for 8 to 10 minutes actually blocks that inflammation and allows your body to get back to healing quicker. The whole idea of cell senescence, which is where you have dysfunctional cel cells, this stress or trauma in your body actually improves your body's ability to clear those distressed cells. Now you have to be healthy enough to do that but that is something that's super beneficial. Now the interesting thing about this is that heat we mentioned before, the saws do something similar, increasing your heat shot protein, improving cell senescence. But it's using heat versus cold. So there's some advantages to each one of those.
