The next issue is with neurological diseases, particularly with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other neurodegenerative issues. When people are starting to detoxify, they can have a flare of their underlying neurological issues. So it's really important to make sure that they're keeping the bowels moved. This is one thing I see a lot in people with neurological issues. Due to their inactivity and not moving a whole lot, they actually tend to have constipation. So all of a sudden, now, as these people are detoxifying and dumping stuff into their colon, if it's not excreted, they can actually recycle the toxins through this thing called enterohepatic circulation. So making sure bowel movements are really important in older patients with neurological conditions.
