We should really look at Africa as a great example of the fact that you don't need all these high tech and amazing things to be healthy. The Hadza tribe is a perfect example. The continent of Africa, and I say this sub Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa, but that part of Africa has the lowest colon cancer incidence, has the lowest IBD incidence. And so you have to wonder what's going on with them. Number one, they are eating a lot of tuber fibers, are literally eating enough fiber to prevent colon cancer. But I think another big factor is vitamin D. They have the sun, right? And they're exposed to vitamin D. So they have a lot less vitamin D deficiency than we do.
