I look over at him, and he's telling me the findings. We're looking at my mammogram and ultrasound on the board. And he said, jill, if you were 55, this is highly suspicious for ductal carcinoma, which is breast cancer, the most common form of breast cancer diagnosed. But you're not. So go ahead and get a biopsy. It's probably okay. But I knew immediately from tone of voice, the look in his eyes, this is serious. And that moment really changed my life forever, because shortly after, I had a biopsy and was told that I had a very aggressive form of breast cancer, and I was only 25.
