And so with an interval fast, you kind of stop it when the magic is starting. And so really, if you want to get the biggest bang for the buck, putting it forward and trying to get a 24 hour water fast is where you get a lot of benefits. But a lot of Americans aren't healthy enough to actually do a 24 hour fast. And that's the reason why things like interval fasting are super helpful. But what you're trying to do with these things is limit calories. You're trying to boost your liver's production of ketones, you're trying to stress your body's metabolism and switch from sugar to glycogen to fats. And that's called, that's metabolic flexibility. And a lot of Americans don't have metabolic flexibility. So these are all the things that fasting is trying to do. Plus it has a huge impact on your gut microbiome. And so that's where if you can do a water fast that's got the most data, it's the most effective, but just most Americans aren't healthy enough to do it. That's where you start doing things like interval fasting. And then the fasting and nick and diet is just a way to kind of redo that.
