Aaron Hartman, MD explains Relievero, a newly FDA-approved ALS treatment combining sodium phenylbutyrate and tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA). Butyrate works like short-chain fatty acids in the gut, while TUDCA clears toxins through bile-acid pathways. Hartman has used these compounds clinically for gut, autoimmune, mold, and Lyme-related conditions.

There's a new product called Relievero that was just approved by the FDA to treat the symptoms of als. Now, the reason this is interesting is because there's two ingredients in this. One is sodium phenylbutyrate, which may sound familiar to some people who've been following me for a bit. Another one is a torso deoxycholic acid. Now, why are these important? Well, butyrate, or short chain fatty acids are what your gut makes. It's what fiber helps your GI tract to make. I've been using butyrate with a lot of my patients with gut issues, autoimmune issues, and mold issues, and Lyme issues for years because butyrate actually helps your cell burn off these toxins. The sodium phenyl butyrate, some of you all may have heard before, it's a different form of bury. You can use iv and I've been using that in lipid therapy as well. The FDA is now just now approving this medication for the treatment of als. The other thing is tus, Tutka or Turso. Deoxycholic acid. Now, again, a big word. It's what's an ox bile? Your body actually makes the stuff you need to clear toxins out of your brain.
